I wanted to get rid of that aweful tag but if I cropped it, it wouldn't have looked right so I did my best to clone it away using picnik... you can kinda tell if you know what to look for...

My Hero

As September 11th gets closer and closer I am reminded of the mighty men that risked their lives that awful day when the towers went down, and I get a little choked up because my hubby is working on becoming one of those valiant men. Right now he is a volunteer with the Kirkland Dept. and I couldn't be prouder! People often ask me if I am scared of this new found dream of his, and to be quite honest I was terrified at first... then I remembered that I belive that when it is our time to go, it's our time to go... what would I want my husband to be doing when it's his time to go? I want him to be saving a life...

My husband is a VERY service oriented man and that is one of my favorite things about him, so was I shocked when he told me of his new dream just over a year ago? No... this was always him, wanting to help people in any way, shape or form!

I JUST LOVE HIM!!

Hate to Love :)

Mandy over at It's a beautiful life came up with an awesome photo challenge, it is hate to love. This one was a little hard for me because I wasn't sure what it would be for me... other then my relationship with my brother in law... you know the hate to love, love to hate kinda thing. Since, I don't have a picture of him I started to think really hard and found the perfect picture!

Have you ever looked at a baby and just htought it was the cutest thing in the world? Well, I think it is SUPER cute when babies cry, I realize I probably shouldn't but it it so darn adorable... you know when they quiver their bottom lip... and the little tiny tiny tears...

These last couple of posts have been all about Photo Challenges and I haven't been showing my everyday photos! So, that is what I am doing now.

These last few days almost a week either I or my hubby, Anthony, have been sick with strep throat. So, I haven't been on my game as far as blogging and pictures. But that should change right now!

This picture is of my good friends dog Isabeau... cool name huh? It comes from an awesome movie with a remarkable story line about a Hawk and a Wolf. They are so in love! Impossible? No... The hawk is a BEAUTIFUL woman by day and at night returns to being a hawk. The wolf is human during the day. You see, they were cursed so they can't be together as humans... so sad, but don't worry they break the curse at they end and love each other forever! I love this movie, and if you haven't guessed it already it's called Lady Hawk! They should remake it!
